Is Your Company Cashing in on Green #Technology & #Clean Energy?

by: admin , July 20, 2012

You don't have to be a "tree hugger" to recognize that being green is rapidly becoming an important, distinguishing factor in businesses. This will determine which are going to stay on top and those which are going to flop. So is your organization doing enough to stay in the lead and keep the green flowing?

Just look at Apple. Despite being the tech giant, local California governments recently announced it will no longer be acquiring Apple products because they do not meet EPEAT requirements. That's a huge hit no matter how large your revenues and certainly does nothing for brand image.

The U.S. Department of Energy also announced a new initiative this week, with the video series "Clean Energy in Our Community". This series is set to feature communities across the country, which are striving to be greener and sustainable. Could you get your company featured in these videos for extra publicity?

America is increasingly going green and embracing sustainable technologies. Maybe it is really caring for the environment due to the incentives being offered and thanks to new generations who are more educated about how to make it really happen.

This means every business of every size has a lot to gain from being a little more environmentally friendly. So how can your marketing promote your business as being green and enable your brand to enjoy more press? How can your organization benefit from investment in clean energy and the incentives being provided? How can you demonstrate that through your toll free business phone lines?

Perhaps it should all start with better office design and a real policy which promotes using clean energy and being more sustainable, though grabbing a green vanity number now certainly holds a lot of potential to position your brand and cash in on the buzz.
