Why Business Marketing Consultants Must Bundle Services or Go Bust

Customers nowadays are more demanding than ever. In their quest to provide better value, it seems that companies are now bundling everything. When you shop at the grocery store, for example, you see shampoos bundled with conditioners at a lower price. In the financial services industry, the same thing is happening. Banks have expanded beyond their original scope to encompass stock investing and insurance as well.

When you think about it, business bundling makes sense. After all, bundle phone services are certainly more beneficial to businesses due to their extensive features offered at a lower price. There are also certain features, such as caller ID, which became a must-have ever since businesses recognized their benefits. The concept of bundling has particularly taken hold of the telecommunications industry at large.

Most subscribers deal with the same provider for their local, long distance, and wireless needs. The advantages of bundle phone services are great while the risks are very low. That is because it is very easy to switch to another phone company when consumers are dissatisfied with the existing provider. In general though, the competition is so tough that subscribers can expect a high level of service to be maintained by all providers.

In the same way that the telecommunications and financial industries are bundling their services, business marketing consultants should follow the same path or go bust. People prefer to deal with the same trusted person or organization for a myriad of needs. So if you’re offering only market research services today, it may be time to look into business planning consultation and other areas as well.
